Kutch Diaries/Beedis from Bherandiyara

We stopped at a cluster of shops at Bheranderiya on our way to the Rann of Kutch to have some tea and food. We ate some delicious mawa, shady pakoras and almost got attacked by a cow, who seemed to be very attracted by Kassia. At the store where we were eating, I spotted a bunch of beedi packets on display. Between the five of them, one can see Devanagari, Bengali, Kannada and English in use.

I have a discarded packet of the first one at my folks’ place. Detailed images will come this way soon. These photographs can also be seen on Flickr.
